One fee, added on top of the clinic's price, paid by the patient. The clinic sets its price and receives that price in full. JetPatient adds 15% and that is the entire transaction cost — nothing is deducted from the clinic, and nothing else is added to the patient's total.
This page describes what the patient pays. Clinics separately license Clinic Portal at a flat $175/month — a software subscription, not a listing fee and not a commission. It does not change with case volume.
Nothing a clinic pays JetPatient varies with the number or value of patients it receives. That is why placement on JetPatient cannot be bought.
A clinic sets the price it wants to receive. JetPatient adds 15%, and that is what appears in the marketplace and what the patient pays. On a procedure the clinic prices at $100:
The percentages differ because the fee is 15% of the clinic’s price, which is 13.04% of the total the patient pays. Both describe the same $15.
Fifteen percent of the clinic’s price, added on top, paid by the patient. It is the only transaction fee. It covers the marketplace and Trust Score infrastructure, the AI suite, coordination, the Trip Plan and physician bridge, and clinic verification work.
What comes out of our 15%, not out of the clinic’s payment: card and bank processing costs, and any currency conversion when a clinic settles in a currency other than the one the patient paid in. Historically these were itemised as separate deductions. They are now absorbed into the platform fee, because a clinic quoted $100 should receive $100 and a patient shown $115 should pay $115.
One number, both directions. If you are a patient, the price you see is the price you pay. If you are a clinic, the price you set is the amount you are paid. The 15% sits between those two figures and nowhere else.
The clinic receives the price it set, in full, settled on its chosen cadence. There is no network fee deducted from the payout, no processing charge passed through, no currency spread, and no outcome reserve withheld.
Every settlement statement shows the same three lines: what the patient paid, the platform fee the patient paid on top, and the clinic’s payout — which equals the price the clinic set.
Separate from any transaction, and billed monthly to the clinic:
A clinic with 8 registered users pays $175 + 3 × $25 = $250 per month. The subscription is never deducted from a patient payment or from a settlement — it is invoiced separately.
If you choose to finance through CareCredit, Affirm, Klarna, Splitit, or GreenSky, the BNPL provider sets the interest rate (APR) you'll pay over the term. JetPatient pays the provider a small merchant-side fee (~3-6% depending on provider) — we never charge this to you. The APR you see on the offer is what you pay; what JetPatient pays the provider is invisible to you.
Soft-pull pre-qualification across all 5 providers has no impact on your credit score. You only see offers that have approved you for that specific dollar amount.
The optional insurance bundle (trip-cancellation + complication-care + outcome-guarantee) is priced at approximately 3.5% of your procedure cost on average. The premium is calculated per-policy by our MGA partner based on procedure type, clinic outcome data, and coverage tier selected.
This premium is a separate charge from the procedure itself — JetPatient does not mark it up. The full premium goes to the underwriter for risk capital.
The moment JetPatient became merchant of record on every transaction, our fee transparency became a brand asset. Hide the take rate and we look like a credit-card company. Show it and we look like the kind of payments partner you trust with the biggest medical purchase of your life. We chose the second option.
